New Darkfall Info...beta close? maybe?

Has to be close right? right? Darkfallworld.com has posted two new videos from a presentation over in Greece for Darfall Online. The first video is a news story about the game and the developers. The second video has the goods, as you can actually see the game in action with the interface and all. The video is edited to show the good stuff, but the sound is replaced with the sound from the seventeen minute video (if you haven't seent it you really should broken into 6 parts on youtube). Some Highlights:

• Some third person fighting action. Not really that good, since the guy who we are following walks backward while swinging his club. I hope there is at least some strategic circle strafing!
• Planetary Movements - They sped up time to show the strange looking planet off in the distance moving.
• Some looting - Just as any UO player would imagine.
• How to mount your mount - Click the icon in your backpack and your mount is up for grabs!
• Lots of interface stuff, grouping, skills, lots of other stuff...pay attention!

Darfallworld.com has also posted some screenshots from the video, highlighting the interface. This is probably the first look at any of the skills in the game. Complete with descriptions, good to finally see.

All in all, this really gets me excited for beta. There is a quote flying around...lets see...found it:

"The big news that I was told I can share with the community is that OPEN beta will be FINISHED by the start of December and release will follow soon after. So… stay on your toes."

So beta should be starting shortly...i freaking hope at least.
